The Founders of Mo’s Universe Doug Snyder & Chris Shaw have been together since 1983, they both have been involved and extremely active in our GLBTQ community since 1979, over the last 40 years they have donated and or raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for our community, there philosophy has always been you can’t have a successful businesses without a strong successful community that is why they have always been active helping create an incredible Hillcrest Community. For them it’s always been about building a community where everyone can feel comfortable being who they are and being proud of who we are.
Jesse Greika known by many as GLITZGLAM is a Gender Fluid Artist/Entertainer and has been in the Hospitality/Restaurant/NightClub industry for over 25 years. GG is very involved in our community working with numerous organizations to raise money & stop the stigma surrounding HIV. GG started at MO’s as an on-call host in 2011 and over the past years has worked their way to Senior Manager. GG is grateful to be part of the MO’S Universe Family & looks forward to creating new long lasting memories with each guest that walks in our doors.
Starting at day one in 1992, Matt has been with working with Chris and Doug since the beginning and started as a host and worked up to be co-owner and GM of Urban MO’s. Matt has contributed to the community with creating events such as the Hillcrest Mardi Gras to currently Tantrums & Tiaras along side The LGBT Center. Matt’s vision for MO’s is to create a home for our community, have a place where we can have FUN, and to have a safe space for guest and staff to be themselves at all times.
Whose real name is Justin Parker, is a professional makeup artist by trade where he has worked closely with Cirque Du Soleil, MAC Cosmetics, and a variety of celebrities over his 20 years in the field. Disco also brings with him 15 years experience in marketing and corporate management. He has been an entertainer in nightclubs and corporate parties for over 20 years and has lived and worked all over the country, bringing his diverse background and experience to Urban Mos.
