Get ready to walk, watch, and rise up. Serving FACE: A Runway for Revolution is a community runway show and celebration!
Attendees are invited to hit the runway in three politically charged fashion categories, with gift card prizes awarded to the boldest looks:
EAT THE RICH: Marie Antoinette excess meets revolutionary fire, about the relationship between obscene privilege and the people who refuse to accept it.
AI APOCALYPSE: Cyberpunk with a conscience, about technology and the fight to stay human in a world run by machines.
WE SHALL OVEER-ACCESSORIZE: For the maximalists and the adorned, committing to the philosophy that you can never have too much.
Winners will be selected by a distinguished judges panel. Free food will be provided. All are welcome.
Hosted by the San Diego LGBT Community Center, this event is a celebration of trans and queer joy as a radical act, and a reminder that our community’s power belongs at the ballot box.
